Members Firefish Posted May 13, 2011 Members Posted May 13, 2011 Is there a public boat ramp at Short Creek? And if so, can you get to it now? I'm assuming the road across the dam is still closed and I was trying to avoid driving through town from where we are staying this weekend. Thanks.

The ramp at short creek is private but cooper's creek should be open and is the closest mid stream access. Good fishing both upstream and downstream from there. I believe that the record Missouri rainbow was caught just down from coopers creek. You can get to fall creek road from either end of the lake and avoid lots of traffic and coopers creek is just off of fall creek road. Thom Harvengt
