Wanting To Start Collecting Pre-Rapala Wiggle Warts

I am in the process of starting a collection of pre-Rapala Wiggle Warts. I only have a few of which I have "collected" while most I plan to fish. I would like to add to the "collection." My struggle is that I am not sure which Wiggle Warts are rare and need to be stored away for my kid's college fund, versus the ones that I should fish and/or have custom painted.

Any suggestions on what colors to look for and fair prices would be greatly appreciated. What research I have done to this point has pretty much come up empty, except I noticed a Blue Mackerel recently sold on eBay for $500, a little out of my league. I currently have about 2 to 3 dozen lures that are in fishable condition, some look new, some are new. Most are in the popular bass colors that are effective in the Ozarks area, primarly in craw or craw-like patterns. I have been able to find a make-shift color chart, but it does not have names, only codes, and I suspect it is not complete. I would love to get a list with codes and names.

Again, any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated. Anyone who wants to trade or sell, please feel free to contact me. I don't have a lot, but I may have what you are looking for and vice versa.

dont know if you are still watching this thread, but i have upwards of over 200+ pre rapala wiggle warts looking to sell. they are still in the box unopened, some still in the shipping boxes.
