Fishing Report Wknd Of 5/14

Floated from Ponca to Kyles Landing and Erbie to Pruitt. The water level and clarity were ideal. We fished chompers and grubs on the bottom green in color and did good. We were asked if we were catching fish by a lot of people who said others were struggling to catch any fish. We finished with several dozen fish between the two days. Two largest fish were 12 inches.

Most of our fish were caught in current or directly behind current. I caught one by a bluff. We tried brown platic worms just to see and picked up one. We did so well with these two baits we did not try spinners or flukes so I don't know if they would have worked too. Hope someone can use this information as others have helped me before.
