Minnows?

Does anyone know if there is anywhere to buy minnows around the Bolivar area. I like to fish out at Masters, but have not been able to find a good bait shop.

Thanks for the info! Taking my oldest daughter fishing Friday, and want to throw out some minnows. Can't go wrong with live bait when fishing with young kids. I caught some nice crappie on Tuesday over in the Masters area using jigs, but think minnows would be easier for her to use.

If anyone is wondering, the fishing dock at Masters is hard to get to right now. The walk way is under about a foot of water. I drove down there to look at it yesterday.

Last year the liquor warehouse on 83 just north of the hospital sold minnows. I assume they are this year as well. Other than than that I don't know of anyone between here and Masters.

Dons bait shop is off of 32 highway on 123 highway and then you have to go west on vv. He has a sign that say's Don's bait shop Groceries and Beer!! you cant go wrong to that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Huck

This place may be difficult to get to from where you are located since their location is on the south side of the Aldrich bridge. I think the bridge is still closed. The convenience store in Fair Play (south side of the road) used to sell minnows.

THe closest place is Dons Bait if you take the first left on a hillon hwy 32 toawrd masters(there is a blue house at that Country road) just past fair play and go to where it Ts on to VV then take a right he will be the first site on the right. You will see alot of campers in a camp area that is Dons.

Thanks, the little store in Fair Play only sells worms now. I stopped in there the other day.
