OzarkFishman Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 It is night and day (both literally and figuratively). If you are fishing for catfish, then slow roll a black spinner bait between bites for bass. Have fun, OzarkFishman
Members FishinJack Posted June 7, 2011 Members Posted June 7, 2011 Went drifting for blues yesterday around the Glaize bridge and it sucked. Caught a handful, but nothing good just some eaters. I don't know what happened. I usually drift coves and maybe with all the current the fish pulled out of the coves. I have more main lake spots further up river but not any is that section of the lake. There is chance the blues are spawning and difficult to catch. I know guys have talked about that in the past. I'd still think if someone set lines with baby bluegill for flathead you'd tear em up. Went back to bass fishing and kicked butt.
OzarkFishman Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I know people are pretty tight-lipped about bass fishing on LOZ. Are you willing to share any information on the bass bite? Not looking for specifics, just a general direction. Thanks, OzarkFishman
