If you connect the other end to a 120 VOLT AC OUTLET it just may accomplish that for you. Just remember to UN-PLUG IT before you reach in there to grab them !!!!!!!

Hey thanks for all the great tips and advice guys! I will take it all into consideration! I do have a Lowrance GPS in the boat, and it's the older model so it has the external 'puck' that sits on the dash. It is hard wired directly into the batter also! There is nothing worse than having to worry about whether or not your battery is going to crank your motor over when you hit the water. I have to get this problem resolved! Thanks again for all the help! I will let you all know what I find out!

I forgot to ever follow up and let you guys know you were right on! The GPS puck was draining down my starting battery after it sat for a period of time. I went to AutoZone and picked up a quick disconnect for my positive terminal just to be safe. (Instead of always getting under the dash and disconnecting the power to my graph) It cost me $4.99 and it's just one dial that you have to loosen off the terminal so there isn't any connection. Took me 5 minutes to install and now I don't have to worry. Plus, I am glad that I found out the problem in that puck. You guys were a great help, thanks for all the responses!
