First off I just want to say thankyou to everyone who gave me some awsome insight for my first trip to stockton. It was spot on. We won today with 12.8. And big bass of 3.8 I lost another equally as big but limited out still. Caught the big one at 1:30 today with 30 minutes left. We caught a ton of fish. Yesterday afternoon was great too. Caught some really nice bass Friday while searching and fishing around.

So here's what I found out this weekend. We fished sons creek all weekend. Bass had moved out of of the flooded small brush with the running of water. That heads up had me move back and concentrate on the big wood in front of the flooded brush. Bite was slower but the bigger fish we caught we all on some type of shallow wood. We only had a few shorts on the brush alone. However we did see some bass chasing up baitfish in the shallows on windswept banks where the murkier water allowed for some ambush I guess. Brushhogs and and craw type baits seems to be the key.

Thanks again everyone. I tried to call you Bob but AT&T left me with no reception. Stockton Lake was amazing and was everything people had been saying. Will def be back. Oh and on Friday we hit a main lake windswept bank where the waves had muddied up the water and thought we'd see if we could catch a bass crusing to catch something that had washed loose. We saw a few fish chasing that didn't look like bass. They were big blues. Didn't have a scale but I hooked one flipping with a craw that was around 15lbs! Tried to upload a pic but can't from my phone. Will try to do when I get home. Have a great rest of the weekend!!
