flyrodman Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Does anyone have the recipe for this fly? Luke Walz
flytyer57 Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Here's a pattern for a WD-40. Just add a bead at the head of the fly. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

I have never tied one so I can't say about the peacock herl. I'd rather think that if you did use peacock, it would simply be a different pattern. I never tie the wing case over the bead on my bead head nymphs, always behind. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
