If and when it feels right, let her know that there are other men in the area that are praying for her that understand father/daughter relationships. (My youngest was married two weeks ago.) Father God, Thanks for caring more for Rusty's daughter than even he cares. It's important that the family be strong together but each has to stand alone with you, too. So please make this time very special for his daughter and draw her close to You, knowing that struggle is a part of life and will make her stronger because of it. Increase the father/daughter bond between them so that her confidence and self-image can grow healthy during her teenage years. Expect good things!
