Roaring River Update?

Planning on heading to Roaring river sometime next week. Anyone have any updates on what the water is like and what they are hitting? Thanks in advance.

Went there this weekend. I believe we were too late in the day to get much of anything. We saw lots of sucker and caught a blue gill but no trout.

I didn't have the best experience at the park store when I went to buy my tag ... the first gal I dealt with was REALLY rude.

However we did stop in Tim's shop and he was just as nice as he could be!!

I've been there before and have a good idea how to catch the trout. I knew they have been experiencing a lot of flooding up there, so I didn't want to go if the water was still high and off color. How did you go about fishing there? Did u use spin cast or fly fishing equipment? Have you fished there before? If some of the people at the store are being rude........then maybe they should be let go........especially since the lively hood of that store depends on the anglers that fish Roaring river.....just a thought. Thanks for your update.
