Chris King Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Hello, We made it out about 5AM this morning and headed to point 5. Had a few fish surfacing but didn't get any on topwater. Based on info from this forum we threw the jig in 15-17' (bottom) of water and threw the grub in the same water about 5-10' deep. We caught a few smallmouth and a few large spots. We headed up to Indian Point, on the Stillwater/Indian Point Boat Dock side and fished coves where we found schools of large whites that liked the grub and a spoon on their head. The whites started about 8AM and shut down by 9AM. Heading back out tonight after dark (and fireworks)...look for black lights in the rub rail, that will be us. We will be around the Rock Lane area.
