Members Hensler Posted July 4, 2011 Members Posted July 4, 2011 My family and I are going to be staying at a house on Table Rock near Arrow Point (just south of Kings River Public Use Area) for a week in early August. My brother in law is bringing his boat and we want to do some bass fishing. Can anyone recommend any spots close to that area? I've been bass fishing several times at Stockton lake this summer and have done really well on a Watermelon Candy Baby Brush Hog. I would love to see that same success at table rock in august, but I've never fished table rock so I don't know where to start. Any help would be appreciated.
rps Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 I would suggest you monitor this board until then. Different regulars have different styles, but the information they share is comprehensive. Have a great time!
Members Hensler Posted August 2, 2011 Author Members Posted August 2, 2011 I'm headed to Table Rock next week. We are staying near Kings River Access. Can anyone share any good fishing spots around there? We've got a boat, but it's a small one.

Members Hensler Posted August 3, 2011 Author Members Posted August 3, 2011 I thought that was better than saying "to the top"
chub minnow Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Depends on what you want to catch. The most surefire way to get into fish is to go out before sunrise to any transition area and just wait for em to start hitting the top chasing shad. You'll catch a bunch of dinks, but it's a ton of fun. Easiest way to catch fish in August that I've found. Action is over by 8:30.
