Hunter91 Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Went this afternoon for a little while caught a 5.3lb walleye along with another keeper walleye and 5 channel cats in the 1-2 lb range. Using nightcrawlers in 25fow. Water temp was upper 80s. That is my best walleye so far.
Patrick M Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 were you fishing from a boat? if not where did you fish?
Patrick M Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 is there alot of boat traffic on fellows? what is the motor limit?
Hunter91 Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 There were two trailers in the parking lot yesterday.
Members Bimmer Posted July 18, 2011 Members Posted July 18, 2011 is there alot of boat traffic on fellows? what is the motor limit? Motor limit is 40hp and you have to have to purchase an annual sticker to launch your boat there. It was either $35 or $40. You WILL need to present a title to get the sticker as well. I think it's the motor title you have to have, but I'd take the boat title too. God is my Pilot! I'm just riding "shotgun".
Hunter91 Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 Yep. I believe its $35. I was in my buddy's boat and he had to get one. Last time I had got one they were $5 but that has been about five years ago.

Hunter91 - I've been catching several of those eating size catfish on that south arm this summer ... until last trip ... couldn't do anything! Sounds like they may have gone deeper. I was fishing in about 15 to 20 FOW.
