Members Golf Pro Posted July 19, 2011 Members Posted July 19, 2011 I heard that the Joe Bass last sat. was won on a wobble head. What is this and how does it work? Where would you fish it? Thanks for the help.
Members timr0123 Posted July 21, 2011 Members Posted July 21, 2011 The only bait I know of that is called Wobble head is the Chompers brand Wobble Head jig. I like them and the original version by Gene Larew, the Biffle Hardhead jig head. Great pitching jigs. http://www.basspro.com/Chompers-Wobble-Head-Football-Jig/product/10226942/-1814546
Members innova Posted July 21, 2011 Members Posted July 21, 2011 Arkie also makes one and they can be bought at Wal-Mart.

Members timr0123 Posted July 21, 2011 Members Posted July 21, 2011 Captain Joe, The Accent jigs look good. What brand of hooks do they use?
Members MissedAnother Posted July 28, 2011 Members Posted July 28, 2011 Pig Sticker Bait Co. out of Verona, Mo makes a version that connects the football head to the hook with a split ring so you can change hooks. The picture on the website doesn't show it but the ones I got have a recessed line tie as well. Pretty cool. Click Here
