Members Finley Cranor Posted July 20, 2011 Members Posted July 20, 2011 This nice lady caught this 19 incher in the first big hole around the corner from the Slab last Wednesday. She caught it on a little closed face reel with a bobber, bream hook and a grasshopper, and her husband was swimming in the water beside her! You just never know.
Members creekin bassnerd Posted July 20, 2011 Members Posted July 20, 2011 nice fish! Hows the water level out there right now? Im thinkin about driving up and the gauge looks like its still broke.
Members Finley Cranor Posted July 20, 2011 Author Members Posted July 20, 2011 The USGA men were working on it last week so I think it is fixed, they said they were replacing the temporary one but the readings stayed the same. It is low, 9.6, you can count on some draging but very little company.
hoglaw Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 the water is extremely low. Dragging is putting it mildly.
Members creekin bassnerd Posted July 20, 2011 Members Posted July 20, 2011 Well Im glad they fixed the gauge. sometimes dragging gives me a chance to stretch my legs and grab the cold beer I cant reach from my seat. thanks for the info
