dennis boatman Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Floated and fished from Bennett Access to Barclay...on the water at 7am and started catching small brown trout...4 to be exact between 6 and 8 inches....maybe there has been a stocking? Rest of the day 4 Rainbows all in the 12" range all caught on a variety of flies. Caught one 12" smallmouth. Lots and Lots of canoes on the river...Lots! Very fun day... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
dennis boatman Posted July 26, 2011 Author Posted July 26, 2011 One from today... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
FishinCricket Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 how long of a float is bennet to barclay 6 miles or so.... It's a 2-3 hour "paddle", a 6 hour "float", or it can take days if you know how to fish it.. cricket.c21.com
dennis boatman Posted July 26, 2011 Author Posted July 26, 2011 I would guess maybe 5 miles? Took us about 8 hours, but we took lots of time...Think I'll wait till Late October or November to do it again... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
