wave runners

the last few times I have fished taney I have seen wave runners all the way up towards fall creek, I was fly fishing from my boat and this guy was cutting donuts one after the other really close to me. I guess you just can't escape them.

I was fishing with Client's a few years ago on the Missouri out of Wolf Creek Montana. We were just around the point of an island and had two of them come around the corner full out and almost hit both clients' You talk about a case of mad. I found out who they were and were they were staying and called the warden on them. He talked to them and warned them if it happened again they both might just go to jail. Both were drinking hard.

I always tell people to call the warden if they are bothering you. They have no right what so ever to do that and they know it but just don't care. Some people run them with respect but many do not. I do not think those things are worth the powder to blow them stright to He!!. Seem's all they are good for is going fast and wasting gas. Ron

Thankfully summer will wind down soon and the lace lice will slowly go away. As the area continues to grow in population and popularity the number of confrontations with inconsiderate people of all types will also grow. All we can do as responsible anglers, boaters, and hunters is to make sure we play by the rules and be considerate even if that consideration is not returned. I fully advocate carrying a digital camera and photographing those that commit stupid acts on the water especially if you can capture their registration numbers. It's always nice to share those pictures with the proper authorities.

I thought about bringing my baitcaster next time, bet I could knock a few off with a big ol zara spook haha J/J but I have given it a thought
