Allison Flats

I got to know now. My maps don't show any Allison Flats. Where is it? I thought I fairly well knew the lake but I guess not. LOL

I thought it was 'Ellison' Flats.....It is on lake left below Tucker Hollow before you go down into Horseshoe Bend.......Good spooning and dragging area

The Fishing Hot Spots map sez that the inside bend of of Horseshoe Bend is also known as Allison Flats, but I would bet that Jeff is right--Mike W. was probably referring to the bend just below Tucker.

I always thought that was called Tucker flats. Thats what I call it any way. Thanks guys for the replies.

Your map says the same thing as mine. Allison Flats is across the lake fron AB Fine.

OK, I've fished both the flats you're talking about - just never knew any names.

BTW, have you ever launched from the ramp at AB Fine? I have, several times. Good golly, that thing's like looking down an Olympic ski jump!

I got an old map from the 70's that calls them "the Ellison Flats".......spelling and sounds in AR has never been a big deal.......BTW, the AB Fine Ramp was built by NASA....

Jeff's right. I try to learn something every day. Today I learned that flat is Ellison Flat and the flat at Horseshoe bend is Allison Flat. Thanks Guys. I was refering to the area across from the water project to just above Stste Line cove.
