Members Dapper Dan Man Posted August 11, 2011 Members Posted August 11, 2011 Hello, I know everyone likes to give up thier favorite fishing spots about as much as we like to pay taxes, but I was curious if anyone could give me a general idea of where I could go catfish fishing from the bank with the water up so high? I tried down by powersite dam a week or so ago and dind't have much luck. However, I did drive by there this evening and noticed that water wasn't flowing over the top so maybe that's where I need to try again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Leonard Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Id say grab a lantern.. box of night crawlers and some chicken livers.. Head over to Beaver Creek (in Taneyville) got right under the bridge and camp out for the night... watch out for snakes.. but this is the area I use to fish in the summer years ago and caught 3 or 4 a night http://www.taneycomonights.com
