Fishing is really starting to turn on at night. We went down last night and from 2am untill 10am and the fishing was great.

Since I was down latter than normal I started at the wire and worked down to the point. The Fishing was so good that it was 5:30 befor we made it down to the point. It was a pretty normal night with moon up and about 1/4 showing so it was not to bright, but just bright enough to make you want to still fish the shadows.

I was using a floating line and my mohair leech in a new color that I have fished quite a bit on some moon lit nights. I have named the color crystal ice and it will work great. One thing that has been pretty common on those moon lit nights is that the fish want it slow and I mean slow. The two colors that I used were blood red and evil leperchon. I have noticed that the we have been picking quite a few 16-18 inch browns up and they are healthy.

After the sun started to come up I put on a olive mohair and picked a few up then here came the hatch. Black and olive midges I had nothing that small, so I put on a crakle back and picked up 6-7 fish in about 1 hour then that was it. I then put a sculpin on and picked up few more sight fishing.

I would say that from 2-10 I had 50-60 fish.

I hope to see everyone at the seminar.

You did better than I. I got there about 10 pm and the water was up, but falling. I messed around and fished the area around outlet #2, but little luck.. and left around Midnight and the stream was still falling. I met one other fisherman, and we visited a while. He was the only other fisherman when I left...I had to get some shut eye.
