Fishing Report

I didn't make it down to the river for Kids fishing day but everyone that I spoke to said that it was a great success. I also heard that there were close to a 1000 kids down there. I don't know that for sure It may have been an exageration around the cleaning station, but if it is true, I'm glad I had to work.

I did make it down to fish yesterday evening. I fished from about 6:30pm to 8pm. I ended up with a bakers dozen. I also broke off a nice brown about 6lbs the hole below the twin falls hole. I fished #16 black ants, #18 and #20 griffis gnats, and #16 burlaps. The fishing was good and there were a lot of nice fish left from the weekend. I caught several in the 2lb range. should make for a nice night around the grill. I am still fishing 8x tippet. the water is getting lower and clearer by the day.

I also saw a guy and a little girl catch a couple of limits on light green lucky strike worms.
