I like to use the smaller sculpins for the slower stiller water.. and the bigger articulated one for at night and faster water... Where they dont have time to think about what they are eating... they just want to strike it! think of it as a vienna sausage to a T-bone steak... what you would rather sink your teeth into?? http://www.taneycomonights.com

You'll lose less of them and spend more time fishing. Im working on a hook up pattern. Still trying to get it dialed in where it rides right. Until then i'm gonna be hook down. I'm sure it will happen eventually but i havent lost a little sculpin like this yet. "There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home."
