Dylan Cluver Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Got down there at about twelve thirty and didn't leave till four this morning. Had the whole place to myself. I started fishing above the rebar holes in fast shoots. Lost one rig because the fly was swallowed, and then another. After the fishing calmed down i moved to shallow water doing O.K. then went back to fishing the current and on what i had decided to be my last cast, hooked up with a nice 22 inch brown! After a nice fight and some pics, he was released. I've only been down a few times at night and I'm hooked! flies were dark colored hibernators. No one gripes about obese fish.
Leonard Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 WOW.. what a fish!! BTW ... welcome to the forum.. Im glad to see you got a 22in Brown VERY SWEET! http://www.taneycomonights.com
Members TArcher Posted September 8, 2011 Members Posted September 8, 2011 Cool! Glad to hear you did well. I can't wait to get back down there. I'm planning on being back down on Sept 15th-17th. Seeing these fish is getting me pumped up. "There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home."
