Big Bass Bash

I am thinking about fishing the Big Bass Bash, I havn't fished LOZ in a few years and am not very familiar with the area but I am kin dof intrigued with the though of fishing this event. I was wondering if any of you have ever fished it, and if so is the place jam packed with boats?

i have fished it and yes there are a lot of boats. The main thing is you could get lucky and catch the bass of a lifetime and win big money. I never got into the money, but I am not of the caliber of some of the guys fishing it either. I would liken it to a lottery ticket, longshot odds, but big payout.

I guess I won't be fishing this event, I looked at the calender and I have to work... Work is for suckers! Can't I just fish for my career.
