wacky worm Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 water is very clear now red and i launched at hog heaven around 5:15pm headed to riverside i caught 5 fish before red was in his kayak we caught at least 25 each saw the resident bald eagle, he hangs out at the end of a long pool and lives in a tree on the island up river from hog heaven red caught the biggest fish of the day and he was battling and the fish almost jumped in his kayak and got off the line before i could get a pic i saw that fish and it was what we call QUALITY FISH we took out at riverside right at dark we both we fishing wacky worms red was watermelon red and i was watermelon orange the river has change so much between these two points it is more like a lake with timber on the shorlines plenty of places for fish to hang out get out and paddle soon season coming to an end i told my friend who is selling his drift boat that i would rather see him in that boat instead of the cubicle keep floating enjoy couple pics Russ Russ Stovall OAF FISHING CONTIBUTOR www.hogheavencanoe.com
