Members evnrude18 Posted October 16, 2011 Members Posted October 16, 2011 Brisk morning for those that made it to the lake early. Air temp at 7:30 am was around 45 degrees. Water temp at the ramp was 63.2. Water temp at 3 pm was at 67.4. The crappie bite was good, minnows, 15 - 20 feet on structure. Walleye have finally decided to start biting, along moss beds and vegetation in water deeper than 10 feet. Caught 14 crappie over 10 inches and 5 keeper walleye. Had to let 2 others go that checked in at 13" and 14" respectively. It was very busy today, a lot of boats out on the water. Hope everyone had fun, I know my brother and I did. Beautiful day to enjoy the lake.
