Fishing Report 10-23-2011

The fishing was good is some places. I started the afternoon between outlet 1 and 2. I did catch a couple of fish up there and the water was not any lower than normal. There was a lot of fish up there but the were very sluggish. At about 5pm I moved down to Pointe Royale and the water was really low down there. There are a couple of really cool places to fish though. The fish are stacked in certain place and they were biting. I was using a 1/100th oz yellow egg. Most of the fish were small but a couple were around 17". I didn't see any browns but there were a lot of rainbows. I think the fishing will be great during the next few weeks during the low water.
