Members Fredrick Posted October 24, 2011 Members Posted October 24, 2011 As colder weather rolls in the trout move up in to the creeks were as bass and pan fish move out to main lake areas. I have been fishing turkey creek for the last few weeks with great success. The water was super low due to the work on powersite dam. The trout are biting big time.Rooster Tails in yellow and brown produced fish well. But it was a plain old live trout worm on a number 8 or so hook that produced an 18 inch fat rainbow. Alot of fun be sure to use light line I use 4Lb. I had a blast caught tons of fish. I parked under the bridge at turkey creek junction and walked down toward taney as far as one can. Its also great wading levels. When you first pull up to the creek it looks empty but its far from it. jagermeister anyone?
