Fishing report for August 26th and 27th

Starting fishing around 11:00 AM after the rain stopped and fished until 6:30 that evening. Caught and released around 30 fish, mostly in zone 1. The heavy rain early Saturday morning had alot of moss floating in the stream, and it was a little off color. I used a cream mini jig (bedspread) on my light fly rod, and that seemed to do the trick. Late in the day went down to zone 3 and chased a big brown but no luck. Sunday was a little slower but I only fished for 3 hours. The number of people fishing was down, but I'm sure this weekend it will be elbow to elbow.

Excellent report. Did you happen to notice any crawdads anywere you were fishinf?
