Members gwh Posted November 16, 2011 Members Posted November 16, 2011 Did anyone notice if the moss was cut before catch & release opened?
FlyFishinFool Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I fished Mon-Fri the last week they were open for the regular season in October, and they did NOT cut any moss that week. * ´¯`•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸ ><((((((º> `•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸ ><((((º> .¸¸.•´¯`•.¸ ><((((((º> I look in my fly box and think about what should guide my choice of the best fly: the amount/angle of sun on the water, the water temp & clarity, what bugs are hatching, what the fish might be eating, and what worked last time. Then I remember what an old man told me... " Ninety percent of what a trout eats is brown, fuzzy, about 1/2 inch long and underwater."
dennis boatman Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Iwas fishing the river on Monday, and saw some... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
Members gwh Posted November 21, 2011 Author Members Posted November 21, 2011 Went down this weekend for three days, they have not cut since mid Sept. Up in zone 1 the moss looks brown as compared to what I saw the third week of Oct when I was down. The wind was blowing did see some of the of the moss on the edges break free and float down in the early afternoon on Sat. gwh
