Members RippinLips Posted November 29, 2011 Members Posted November 29, 2011 Looking for some wading boots at bass pro for a reasonable price any suggestions
JCWolfe Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 If you can, save some money for a better pair. I had a pair of redheads from bass pro that started falling apart within a year. My Simms are almost 2 years old now and the only thing I have done is put new shoe strings on them. Okiemountaineer

Andrew324 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I wear Korkers and like them a lot. Simms makes great stuff. Just make sure that you get an appropriate size. Buying small wading boots means risking having to replace neoprene stockingfoot (because your toenails dig more and you wear the seams out) THEN you have to buy another pair of boots. It sucks. tjulianc Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I'm also looking for a pair of wading boots this winter. I'm looking pretty hard at the Chota's STL. Any opinions on them compared to Simms Freestone boot?

Any opinions on them compared to Simms Freestone boot? Andrew I have a similar question on the Simms boots. Is one size larger than your normal street shoe size okay for enough room with stocking foot waders? Thanks, Dave
