Members bstarbird Posted December 3, 2011 Members Posted December 3, 2011 Is this wadeable? Me and some buddies have planned on going down to get some flies in the water but with the schedule like this is it even worth going? I know 40 is certainly not doable, so I was curious what half full generation is like. Thanks guys!
JCWolfe Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 That depends on what whole is. I've waded when there was a "half" generation. The half I waded in was still kind of strong in places and I chose my pathes carefully. Get a wading staff. Seems like a gamble looking at the schedule and the actual generations that have happened. I've had good luck and bad luck with water running. I've caught more fish on LIR when there was no generation. Okiemountaineer
dgames Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I think you would be pretty much limited to fishing edges. You won't be able to wade across.

I look at the stream gauge to see what the CFS is to make my determinations. Okiemountaineer
