Took Brett and chad from Arkansas out to chase some smallmouth today. Fishing was good again today. They drifted 1/16th oz marabou jigs under indicators on 6 wt fly rods in ginger, white, white and grey, and olive and burnt orange about 5 to six ft deep. Great guys and the fishing was good.

Sure was Brian, thanks again for today, that was great. This guy is a first class guide! I may have to ice my wrist down from catching so many smallies..lol. Chad is in the process of looking for a flyrod, he's hooked. Beautiful river, good company, and a perfect winter day!!

Yeah, that is true, and he knows that i'm sure, but he's wanting to expand his horizons a bit. I've been trout fising with flyrods for awhile, but never seen a 6 wt bend like it did yesterday. That will spoil ya for sure!!

Glad you had fun, for me I got to where I just wanted to kick back and drink a beer, didn't care if I caught another fish. Everyone deserves that once in a while.
