Andrew324 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 So I was walking home from the bar last night and found a piece of tinsel on the ground. I stuffed it in my pocket and my girlfriend asked "what are you doing that for?" and I told her I was saving it for fly tying. The tinsel will make good flashabou for tails and some legs. Which brings me to my question: why kinds of Christmas decorations make good material to save for the bench? Ill Trout Bum Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I'm not real sure about what the raw materials, but I prefer these decorations. I made several of them up last year for my fishing buddies with an enclosed note that read- "in case of fishing emergency, break glass". Scott
