brittsnbirds Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I started fishing Friday afternoon once camp was set up. I started with my version of the Pemrose and Pearl midge. Then switched to my stand by, olive and gold Crackcleback. Overall I tried several midge patterns but ended up using a red, gold and gold wire midge (blood) and the pemrose pattern. I switched between the olive crackle to the "original" crackle on sinking line. I did best yesterday morning just letting the crackle settle and wait for the strike. Overall the trip was a B plus. Would have been an A if the crowd wasn't as heavy. But I knew there would be a good number of people going into it. Pat
