A lot of folks will still be around Sunday, Greg. You might hook up with someone and fish down there Sunday. Liable to run into a few folks from this board. I have to come back to Nixa Sunday morning or I'd fish with ya...

Thanks Terry

I didn't know there was a separate thread.

Okay, I've read thru all the post and agree that this is one of personal choice, casting style, and thickness of your wallet. From what I've read most like the RIO or SA. I'm looking at buying new line for my old reels and some new reels as well. One question, has any tried, read about, or know anything about the Cabela's Prestige® Plus™ Multi-Tip Fly Line? If it does what it says, it seems to be a good alternative for having multiple lines. Thanks in advance for you help.

John, I have 2 maybe 3 different Prestige Plus flylines. I don't have the multi tip, but I can tell you that these lines have withstood at least 5 seasons. Just a little cleaning every so often and they retain their slickness. I have fished them in all conditions and have no cracking.

If one is looking for a good inexpensive line then they should look at the Aqua Nova lines made in Canada. You can check them out at www.dorber.com

The rod maker over in Flippin, Ark. Great lines for the price.

Five seasons with minimal cleaning? I am currently using SA, Orvis, and Rio on my rigs. I'll keep Prestige Plus in mind for next round. Thanks Dano.

Now that's a good price! Have you tried these lines and what are they like? Will they be at the SowBug? Thanks for the info Dano.

Actually I do have one in 5wt and it reminds me of SA's entry level

line the Headstart. Not bad at all for the price.

I hope Michael chimes in on the "multi-tip" issue. He had some good points about them at the "Fishing Streamers on Taney" seminar at the store last month.

One thing to consider... the "tips" on this line are 12 ft long, so you will have 12 ft of floating, intermediate, or sinking line and the rest will be floating. This may not be a problem for most, but should be taken into consideration for the type of fishing you are planning on. Of course if you use a 30 ft sinking leader, it doesn't matter much...

Hey Dano... what line do you have on that Eagle Claw?
