Fishing Report For 1-22-12

Fellow fly fishers,

Started out at the gravel parking lot at about 11:45 am fished until 2:45 pm. Was a bit slow for the first 30 min. as the water was still dropping out. After that I don't know how many I caught, had to be over 40 easy. Turned and lost a bunch more. I have posted a pic of the 3 flies I used during the time there. If you are interested in any of them, pm me and I'll give u the details where u can purchase them.

i woke up yesterday intending to head out but the wind was brutal here in Tulsa. How bad was it there? I'm thinking a made a mistake by staying in.

The wind didn't pick up until 1:30 or so and it wasn't that bad north of the island. I would bet that it was a lot worse on other unprotected sections of the river. Even with the wind the flow was good and the fish were biting what I was throwing.
