Bridgeport Crappie Report

I passed up throwing an A rig today to catch some crappie. We fished around Bridgeport from 11-3pm. We caught 20 crappie with 10 nice keepers from 11-14in also caught several bass in the 10-15in range. We caught everything on swimming minnows and live minnows in 20-25ft.

what color swimmin minnows were you throwing and where you around structure..im pretty familar with bridgeport, my family use to own a lake house there..

We were throwing red/char and black/chart around any stumps or brush on bluffs north of bridge.

awesome, thanks for the update...I doubt I'll b able to get on the water until after wrestling is season over...coaching sure does take time away from fishing geezzz....but its good to know whats working just in case..lol thanks again
