rangerz21 Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 With the rain last week the lake is rising fished today 2-5-12 The water temps actually warmed up some from last week. Today they seemed to bite better with the sunshine. Had 5 keepers all on a jerkbait with 8 shorts yesterday had 4 keepers one about 4 1/2 lbs was the biggest and only 2 shorts. Tons of shad on the electrnics anywhere from 8 to 25 fow. The crappie bite has been excellant in the upper grand they are spider rigging them using minnows in the bigger creek arms hope all the water coming down the grand doesnt mess things up. The bass on Truman right now are the healtiest That i can remember been here since the lake went in.And actually before that.
Members mo4packer Posted February 6, 2012 Members Posted February 6, 2012 Ranger, Are you fishing points or bluffs? Also, if you dont mind sharing the depth you are jekbaiting. I fished mainlake areas around the Dam on Sunday with a LC100 pointer for 6 hrs and not a tap.
