Leonard Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Busy day just getting to post... Met up with Steven around 8:30.. water had just shut down.. a little wind (ok breezy).. we started at outlet 2 with some scuds and midges hooking up a few. as the water dropped out we headed to the gaunlet stripping some hibernators.. lots of small/avg fish we headed up top to the flat.... big and better fish.. we started really catching them on Hibernators, H20's and OH YES....... The PMS! we HAMMERED them on the olive PMS most fish were in the 15-18in .. even got a couple to take it off the top.... if you strip it fast enough they will "bust" the top of the water like a bass... this is so freaking cool to see at night! It really didnt seem to matter if we stripped it... drifted it... or even let sink to the bottom. A few times as we cast out and made the first strip to tighten the line we had fish on.. All in all a very good night! http://www.taneycomonights.com
Dylan Cluver Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I was using a black/red hibernator and tangled up my line on my rod, so i untangled it and threw it in the water about 4 feet away, i gathered my line and went to cast and as i picked it up out of the water out came a rainbow after it. No one gripes about obese fish.
Members Stephen Lewis Posted February 6, 2012 Members Posted February 6, 2012 Had a great time fishing with you last night Leonard. I really learned a lot and we caught quite a few and some pretty nice fish. Can't wait to do it again soon.
hillbillyflyshack Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Leonard have you fished the PMS below Fall Creek and if so how?
