Resole Felt Waders

Just read TU news letter and it states that Dawson's shoe repair in Columbia will re-sole felt waders with vibram for about $60

Anyone know of a shoe shop in the Branson-Springfield area doing this?

$60? You can buy new Korkers for $130 at BPS with rubber and studded rubber soles. You can buy Cabela's or BPS new boots for slightly more than $60. Seems the price is a touch high.

But....There are some cheaper options for treating felt soles so that they are legal.

I'm not so sure the "cheaper" is going to be cheaper. If you listen close in the video on treating he points out that if they find some uncoated felt anywhere you it. I would hate to go to all that trouble and then find that a small area had worn through during the day.
