Hello Anglers,

My name is Paul and I am very new to the Missouri fishing scene. I live in Illinois outside of stl but, camp and hike all summer long in Mo near Sullivan/Bourbon. I fell in love with the area, and bought some acreage over 1 year ago. I plan to retire in the area but for now I use it for primitive camping,hunting, and morel hunting. . As a construction worker, I have learned that experience is key with everything in life and from the looks of things there are 1000's of years worth of experience on your forum. It was a no brainer for me to join the site, OA is easily the biggest and best Missouri fishing resource on the net. Living out of state makes it hard for me to learn the in n outs and talk with local fishermen but this site helps big time. good luck to everyone and thanks for having me.

And if you have not already seen, you soon will. we might sometimes take advice with a grain of salt. But in the end for the most part we all agree to sometimes disagree. sometimes we don't get enough fishing done especially during winter so have to have someway to release our frustrations. welcome again and I know you will fit right in.

And whassa big idea? goin around makin excuses for the obnoxiousness that can be encountered on a forum... Whassamatta witcha? Takin all da fun outta de job, mang, truly... Us trolls need a lil fun too, and everyone's a jackass at some point or another.. May as well be amongst fishermen (who can generally handle it, cept of course them über-conservatives and über-liberals, but them goof-arses take offense to anything, don't they?)

So we all get a lil stir crazy during the winter, it ain't necessarily because of a lack of fishing.. I fish the spring all winter and I'm STILL a jake leg goofball.. So what now?

Sorry bout that, FNG.. Sometimes a junkman's just gotta be set on the straight and narry... I feel better now...
