Yep. Seems like I'm hogging this topic page.

Went down on the Sept. 15 and the water is gin clear. I'm talking about the kind of water and weather conditions you usually only see on an Outdoor Life cover photo.

Fish are mainly 10 inchers. we did catch a few larger rainbows and a brown that had that deep bronze color that makes you think that some of the fish are coming upstream from the river.

Had most of our luck on brown or green jigs. Orange and green worms worked well also.

Phins,thanks for the report.Yes I would suspect the browns are moving or getting ready too.You may try sight fishing with polorized glasses in the fast water run just below the cable that crosses the river below the first bridge.When they are moving up out of the river this is a good spot to start looking.They like the island side bank in the grass.You'll probably be doing alot more searching then fishing but you may get lucky.
