Micheal Kyle Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Fishing was not all that bad the only problem was finding bigger fish I think that the biggest fish that we caught was 16-17 inches. I used everything from a mohair leech to a bunny zonker. With no moon The darker colors were working the best purples, blood red, ace of spades. We started fishing around 10 and quit around 2, Dan that was us sitting on the pinic tables when you and your wife walked by. We were waiting on a buddy to quit. I did here quite a few fish busting the top of the water that sounded of good size most of the time when that is going on at night they are Browns. Betwwen the four of us we probally had 40 fish. It's getting real close to being very hot day and night. I would say that the numbers of fish we caught were lean but the numbers of browns are up. I would say that I had 50% browns that night. RSBreth Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I fished early sunday from about 4:30 to 8 A.M. down by the boat ramp. I caught about 10 browns, only one rainbow of any size, and for some reason, several tiny rainbows on a rainbow color X-Rap 8. Always funny when a 6" fish hits a 3" lure. Most brown were the same size - 16-17" Lots of people started showing up so I left.
Danoinark Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Michael, wished I had know I would have introduced myself. I guess I need alot more schooling on this night fishing. Dan Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
