johndarin Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I had a chance to fish for a couple of hours yesterday just before dark. There was four generators going and the weather was nice. Since I only had a couple of hours I decided to do some streamer fishing. I started on the south side right under the wire up by the dam. I worked that bank down to just above to Conservation Department boat ramp. I had a lot of chasers but no takers. For the last hour I ran back down to the bluff across from Lilleys’ Landing and fished that clear down to Cooper Creek. Again I had a lot of chasers but I did have a few hits and they were browns. I was fishing a #4 white Boogie Man on 150 grain sink tip line with 3x tippit. I was casting right up next to the bank and around as much structure as I could, getting the fly really tight to it. Most of the takes were hard and fast on the second or third strip. Darin Schildknecht Pro Staff - Lilleys' Landing Resort & Marina Lake Taneycomo, Branson, Missouri
