Members COdave Posted March 18, 2012 Members Posted March 18, 2012 What do you guys use to catch whites? We were on swan... didn't have any luck. Can you give me some specific lure names and successful casting / reeling techniques. Thank you. I am new to this. Also, where is the best live bait shop by swan creek? Dave
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Tri Lakes is on the south side of 160 just pass the 4 way. They may not be in Swan yet. They've been coming in and out of the creeks. Unless you saw them being caught, they probably aren't there in any numbers. Swimming minnows are the old standby. White or chartreuse are most popular and available at Tri Lakes. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Moswimb8slinger Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Pearl white has been a good color for me in the last couple of years, Roadrunners, hair jigs, sliders, 2.5" crankbaits, small spinnerbaits (3/16oz or 1/4oz., cut the skirt just behind the hook to avoid short hits), anything that they can easily get their mouth around
