Justin Spencer Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 North Fork is currently at 4200 CFS and holding steady, I fully expect a second rise as the water keeps coming down from upriver, would expect it to come up another couple feet, and more if we get substantial rain today. Depending on its final level and when it starts going down, may be middle of next week before it's floatable and fishable again. Fished about an hour and a half yesterday in front of house knowing fishing would be out for a while. Caught two nice bows and half a dozen stocker browns, half on rubberlegs and half on olive leech. Justin Spencer Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 Eh.....streamer water! More like drowning water, like expected it's coming back up now over 5400 CFS or as Johnny Cash would say "7 feet high and risin' " "The problem with a politician’s quote on Facebook is you don’t know whether or not they really said it." –Abraham Lincoln Tales of an Ozark Campground Proprietor Dead Drift Fly Shop
Nortrad Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Eh.....streamer water! Speaking of streamer flies, uh, when's the new video of the Barely Legal coming? Can't get on the water, gotta go tie, right? Just sayin...heh heh...
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Well it's still raining west of you and judging by the radar between here and the gulf i'm thinking more might be possible. Maybe you can float over McKee. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

I'd say you could now float over McKee, much more and it won't be very funny. Members ehammer Posted March 22, 2012 Members Posted March 22, 2012 Over McKee, yikes! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for things to be in better shape for the second weekend of April. Hope the rain let's up on you down there soon. I think were about to get hit with it up here in St. Louis .
Chris Gates Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 When the water comes up I always have my fingers crossed that McKee Bridge gets taken out!
