Skeeter ZX190 Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Fished Monday afternoon. Started in the Osage arm not far from the dam in some of the big cuts on the west side. Water temps were 64 to 67 and the water was fairly murky. We caught 6 in that area of the lake. With the water rising it seemed like the crappie were out in 4 to 8 feet of water. Never found them bunched up. You would catch one here or there. Moved from there to the Grand arm close to Long Shoals. Water temps were about the same but the clarity was much better. Probably 2 to 3 feet. Caught 5 more in that area but a little deeper. We also caught a bunch of small bass and 1 small walleye on our crappie jigs.
