Justin Spencer Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Hey that looks like my stringer. Great fish, nice when one fish can provide a fish fry. Mr. Ed Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Nice fish....I would be hanging that on my wall Mine too!
emjay Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Dont see too many of those come by. Great catch. Was down a few days ago but only managed a short. But man, had a blast with catching 3lb smallies.
Members Brendan Armour Posted April 19, 2012 Members Posted April 19, 2012 Where you catching those brownies at? And with what bait/presentation. I am stuck on the a rig and haven't had a small mouth in a month at least. I know last year this time I was smashing some 4 lbers on the long wall at the dam with a smoke and silver swimming minnow. Slow (brush hog) retrieve.
Members Brendan Armour Posted April 19, 2012 Members Posted April 19, 2012 Be out below the dam in the am
Addicted to Creeks Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 whats up with its side? Fish always lose by being "got in and dressed." It is best to weigh them while they are in the water. The only really large one I ever caught got away with my leader when I first struck him. He weighed ten pounds. —Charles Dudley Warner
emjay Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Where you catching those brownies at? And with what bait/presentation. Forsyth side. Caught them on Flukes and Megabass Vision 110s. Stop.....and go presentation.
Bubbas Dad Posted April 23, 2012 Author Posted April 23, 2012 whats up with its side? We got kinda excited and dropped it in the boat on top of a box of nightcrawlers. It's just dirt and a piece of styrofoam from the box, LOL.
