Fishing the last couple of days has been pretty fun for me. I have been trying out some new things up in the trophy area. The water generation has been almost perfect for what I have been trying. There have been one to three units rinning mot of the day. The weather has been nice for me but just average for the fish. It has been sunny and still. The main spots I have been hitting have been Lookout Bluff and the shoal just below the mouth of Fall Creek.

I have been using an ultra light spinning rod with four pound Trilene XL throwing a Rapala X-Rap size 8 gold. Hitting the banks right up close and fishing the suspended jerk bait fast with abrupt stops. The trout are going nuts over this. I have seen more big fish this way than I have in a very long time. The raibows and browns are chasing this lure all the way to the boat almost everycast. When they hit it, it is a violent strike leaving no doubt that it is a fish.
